Text Book Presentation
The Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home was recently presented the newest edition of the textbook Embalming History, Theory, and Practice, Fifth edition. Brock Shaffer, of the funeral home, has been acknowledged as a special contributor in the text, which is authored by Robert G. Mayer.
The textbook is the most comprehensive text, relevant to funeral service, in print today. It is used in all mortuary schools in America as well as in Canada, Japan, Australia, Great Britain, Korea, Ireland, South America and many other international countries.
Shaffer also had the privilege of traveling with Mayer to London to participate in a series of seminars with delegates from several European countries to further educate them on American funeral practices.
