Obituary for Edith E. Detrio (Madera)

Edith E.  Detrio (Madera)
Edith E. Detrio, 69, of Curwensville died on Monday, November 19, 2012 at the Clearfield Hospital.

She was born on November 20, 1942 in Penn Township, a daughter of the late Joseph B. and Virgie (Haag) Madera.

She was Catholic by faith.

She is survived by seven children, Judi Cressley, Brenda Paden, Kevin Hoover, Carol Malek, Velma Barclay, Susan Morrison and John Hoover; eighteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; four sisters and three brothers, Joseph A. Madera and wife Kristine of Asheville, NC, Marie Mullins and husband Merlin of Grampian, Judy Kessler and husband Dale of Grampian, Charles Madera and wife Vivian of Grampian, Robert F. Madera and wife Sue of Grampian, Sister Ruth Ann Madera of Frenchville and Margie Price and husband Rob of Grampian; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Danny Hoover and a brother Hugh P. Madera.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 3rd at 11 AM at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, Grampian with Father Mark Mastrian as celebrant.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Marian House, 209 Walnut Street, Clearfield.

The Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville is in charge of the arrangements.
