Duane W. Gross , 83, of Rimersburg died on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at the Clarion Hospital.

He was born on October 25, 1930 in Clearfield, a son of the late Paul E. and Mary E. (Barton) Gross.

Mr. Gross retired from the PA Game Commission as the Northwest Land Management Supervisor, based in Franklin.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, He served during Korean Conflict.

He is survived by three children, Richard Gross and wife Carolyn of Parker, Ronald Gross and wife Lori of Stony Creek, VA and Elaina Carty and husband Michael of Fairfield; nine grandchildren; two great grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Audrey Huss; and two brothers, Kenneth B. Gross and Glenn E. Gross.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday at 1:00 pm with Rev. J. Robert Mellgard officiating. Interment will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.
