Obituary for Ronald L. Phillips

Ronald L.  Phillips
Ronald L. Phillips , 67, of Hyde went to his Lord on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Penn Highlands Clearfield.

He was born on August 13, 1946 in Houtzdale, a son of the late Peter Yanosik and Alberta Phillips.

Mr. Phillips retired as a truck driver from St. Joseph Motor Lines, Clearfield. He was a member of Church of the Nazarene, Clearfield and will always be affectionately known as "the can man".

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Karen Spencer-Phillips; a daughter, Evelyn Robertson; his wife''s daughters, Kerri Hutchinson and husband Darren of Clearmont, FL and Katrina Concel of Treasure Lake; his grandson, Hunter Robertson; his wife''s grandchildren, Faith and Cole Hutchinson, Kayla and Julianne Concel and Kenneth Conway III; a sister, Verna Beard and husband Larry of Nottingham; his twin sister, Donna Sharpless of Houtzdale; a brother, Bill Leair of Painesville, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Conway II; his wife''s son-in-law, Mark Concel; and a nephew.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Monday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Robert Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the Friends Cemetery, Grampian.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 9-11 AM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Church of the Nazarene, 401 Ogden Avenue, Clearfield.
