Obituary for Andrew Glen Batcho

Andrew Glen  Batcho
Andrew Glen Batcho , 66, of Clearfield died on Friday, August 1, 2014 at Penn Highlands DuBois.

He was born on June 17, 1948 in Philipsburg, a son of the late Andrew 'Andy' and Betty (Visnofsky) Batcho.

Mr. Batcho owned Batcho Office Systems in downtown Clearfield. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling, cooking and traveling. Always thinking of others, Mr. Batcho put everyone else before him. He was protestant by faith and a member of the American Legion John Lewis Shade Post #6, Clearfield and the Fraternal Order of Police, State College.
A veteran of the armed services, he was a member of the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Linda (Twoey) Batcho whom he wed February 23, 1968; three children, Andrew Glen Batcho Jr. and wife Kerrie of Aliquippa, Michelle Batcho of Clearfield and Kimberly Batcho-Norris and husband Matthew of Clearfield; eight grandchildren and two great grandsons; three sisters, Betty Jean Gormont and husband Walter of Clearfield, Doris 'Dorie' White and husband Charles of Curwensville and Diane Kesner and husband Kim of Clearfield.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Ernest Jack Batcho.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Wednesday at 11:00 am with Raymond Stiner officiating. Interment will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.

Military honors will be accorded at the funeral home by the Clearfield VFW and American Legion Posts' Honor Guards.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 PM and on Wednesday from 10-11 AM.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Hahne Regional Cancer Center, 100 Hospital Ave., DuBois, PA 15801.
