David D. Moore
David D. Moore, 48, of Olanta died Friday, October 31, 2014 at Penn Highlands DuBois.

He was born February 23, 1966 in Clearfield, a son of David E. and Bonnie Kay (Sheeder) Moore of Curwensville. David was a lifelong area resident of the area and a 1984 graduate of the Curwensville Area School. He worked as a Landscape Foreman for College Gardens Nursery in State College and did several landscaping jobs in the local area.

He enjoyed being outside hunting, fishing and riding ATV’s, and also loved watching movies with his family. David cheered for his favorite NFL team, the Dallas Cowboys, even though he also cheered for the Eagles when watching with his father, and the Broncos when watching with his son. He was a #3, Dale Earnhardt NASCAR fan and more recently cheered for Dale Earnhardt Jr.

David will be sorely missed by his family and friends. He will be most remembered for his jolly laugh and beautiful blue eyes.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Nicholas David Moore; his daughter, Emily Kay Moore; his sister Christina Smay and husband Rodney and their four children; his companion Kimberly Rockey and her son Chad Martell; his maternal grandmother, Norma Dale; four aunts, Judy Shubert and husband Carl, Carolyn Sible and husband Bob, Cindy Pomputis and husband John and Lena May Fleming and husband Ray; and an uncle, Robert Sheeder and wife Donna.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Tammy Lynn Moore; and his maternal grandparents, Leon and Betty Sheeder.

A memorial service will be held November 29, 2014 at a place and time to be announced.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, 113 North Third Street, Clearfield.
