Obituary for Paula M. Barrett (Zitzelberger)

Paula M.  Barrett (Zitzelberger)
Paula M. Barrett, 58, of Falls Creek, formerly of Clearfield, died on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at her home.

She was born on September 17, 1956 in Clearfield, a daughter of Charles and Mary (Mullen) Zitzelberger of Clearfield.

Paula was employed at the Clearfield Cheese Company for many years and then had worked for the Penelec Power Plant in Shawville. She was also employed at the former George's Tobacco Store, Clearfield. It brought Paula great joy being a volunteer for Make A Wish Foundation and she was also very involved with events at the Third Ward Fire Hall, Clearfield.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Dennis J. Barrett Sr. whom she wed May 29, 1985 in Clearfield; a sister, Helen Howell and husband Colin and their children; a brother, Charles F. Zitzelberger II and wife Leslie and their children; and two other siblings; a step son, Dennis Barrett Jr. and wife Heather of Curwensville and one other step son; and a step granddaughter, Jade Barrett and her mother Shelly Barrett.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Tuesday from 4-7 PM. A Christian Vigil service will be held on Tuesday at 6:45 PM with Fr. Matius Quimno officiating.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Penn Highland Home Health Hospice, attn: Hospice Services, 100 Hospital Avenue, DuBois, PA 15801; Make A Wish Foundation, Gift Processing Center, PO Box 97104, Washington, PA ; or to the American Cancer Society 26 S. Second Street, Clearfield..
