Obituary for B. Michael "Mick" Coudriet

B. Michael "Mick"  Coudriet
B. Michael 'Mick' Coudriet, 66, of Pittsburgh and formerly of Clearfield died on Tuesday, November 25, 2014.

He was born on August 12, 1948 in Philipsburg, a son of the late Bruce S. and Margaret Helen (Jury) Coudriet.

Mick was most recently employed by Sunesys Communications Company in Pittsburgh. Prior to moving to Pittsburgh, he worked at Time Warner Communications in Clearfield which transferred him to Pittsburgh. After moving, Mick owned and operated his business, CBD Services.

He was a member of Congress Hill United Methodist Church and served with the U. S. Army Reserves during the Vietnam War. Mick enjoyed riding his motorcycle and participating with the "Freedom Riders." He also was an avid Steelers fan and has held season tickets for many years. Above all else, he will always be loved and missed by his family, as he cherished nothing more than spending time with them.

He is survived by two children, Gigette Ursone and husband Dom of Winsted, CT and Michael Coudriet and wife Lisa of Torrington, CT; five grandchildren Greyson, Brailey and Marella Ursone and Mason and Bryce Coudriet; a sister, Peggy 'Lady' Putt and husband Larry Putt of Clearfield and their children Stephen Putt, Daniel Putt and Sheri Daugherty; and a brother, Rick Coudriet and wife Cindy of Clearfield and their children Maggie Billotte, Ryan Coudriet and Jill Hawthorne.

Funeral services will be held at the Congress Hill United Methodist Church on Monday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Susan Arnold and Rev. Kenneth Leonard officiating. Interment will follow in the Gillingham Cemetery, Frenchville, PA.


Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home funeral home on Sunday from 2-5 PM and at the church on Monday from 10-11 AM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to UPMC Cardiovascular Institute, 200 Lothrop Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15213.
