Obituary for Traczyk L. "Sarge" Williams Sr.

Traczyk L. "Sarge"  Williams Sr.
Traczyk L. 'Sarge' Williams, Sr., 74, of Wallaceton died on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at his home.

He was born on January 27, 1941 in Clearfield, a son of the late David and Cathryn (Hitchings) Williams.

Sarge served in the US Army for 20 years. After his service, he was employed on the Railroad until his retirement in 1995.
He was a member of Summit Hill United Methodist Church and the DuBois VFW.

He is survived by three children, Traczyk L. Williams Jr. and wife Laura of Wallaceton, Tammy Lee Butlin of DuBois, Melissa Rowles and husband Michael of West Decatur; the following grandchildren, Joshua, Jennifer and Micalah Butlin, Jessica Hensal and husband Jacob, Michael, Isaac, Sara and Matthew Rowles, Ean, Rene, Jesse, Brittne and Liam Williams; two great grandchildren, Caleb and Kaiden Hensal; a sister, Irene Knepp, of PA; and a sister-in-law, Dottie Williams of OH.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sarajane 'Jane' (Emigh) Williams on December 5, 2012 and whom he wed December 8, 1967 in Summit Hill. He was also preceded in death by four grandchildren; three sisters; and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Tuesday at 11 with Pastor Tina Hawkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Summit Hill Cemetery, Morrisdale.

Military honors will be accorded by the members of the DuBois VFW Honor Guard.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM and on Tuesday from 10-11 AM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Summit Hill United Methodist Church, 821 Summit Hill Road, Morrisdale.
