Obituary for Mona J. Kephart (Wright)
Mona J. Kephart, 75, of Woodland died on Monday, February 2, 2015 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
She was born on February 17, 1939 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Walter Theodore Lee and Martha (Gisewhite) Wright.
Mrs. Kephart was employed as a security guard and prior to that, she worked in various local factories.
She was a member of the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging and the AARP. She enjoyed crocheting crosses and giving them as gifts.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse, Duane H. 'Keppy' Kephart on August 27, 2007 and whom she wed August 4, 1973 in Woodland. She was also preceded in death by a son, Duane Kephart Jr.; and a brother, Walter Wright.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Monday at 11 AM with Rev. Brenda Libreatori officiating. Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 PM and on Monday from 10-11 AM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Heart Association, 501 Howard Avenue, Suite D. Altoona, PA 16601 or to the American Cancer Society, 26 S. Second Street, Clearfield..
