Obituary for Anthony M. Mikolajczyk

Anthony M.  Mikolajczyk
Anthony M. Mikolajczyk , 70

of Clearfield died on Monday, April 6, 2015 at the Penn Highlands DuBois.

He was born on July 12, 1944 in Olean, a son of the late Anthony Francis and Rose (Nickola) Mikolajczyk.

Anthony was a graduate of Arch Bishop Walsh High School, Olean, NY. In 1963 he enlisted with the US Air Force and served during the Vietnam War. He continued serving his country for the next fourteen years with the Reserves. Upon moving to Clearfield, he was employed with the PA State Department of Forestry.
His greatest passion was hunting, be it turkey, deer or bear.
He was a longstanding member of the Wild Turkey Federation and also a member of the NRA.

He is survived by a daughter, Ann Marie Todd and husband Darron of Bridgeville, DE; two granddaughters, Holly and Regan; a sister, Mary Ann Triesky and husband Anthony of Olean, NY; a nephew, John Triesky and wife Amanda of Lebanon; and three great nephews, Tobias, Jacob and Samuel.

A memorial service will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 2 PM with Fr. John Miller officiating.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 1-2 PM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to cancer research.
