Hope C.  Wisor (Swisher)
Hope C. Wisor, 90, of Hyde, died on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.

She was born on January 3, 1925 in Bigler, a daughter of the late Clark and Elva (Kephart) Swisher.

Mrs. Wisor had worked for many years as a private personal caregiver for countless people and businesses around the Clearfield County area. She will certainly be remembered for her hard work ethic and love of her family.
Mrs. Wisor had attended the Glad Tidings Assembly of God, Clearfield.

She is survived by four sons, Kevin Wisor Sr. and wife Joyce, James Wisor Jr., Thomas Wisor and Kimm Wisor, all of Clearfield; ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and a sister, Charity Baird of Lancaster County.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Wisor, Sr. on February 5, 1994 and whom she wed April 14, 1955. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Dewey Swisher; a daughter-in-law, Charlene Wisor; and a brother-in-law, John Baird.

A memorial service will be held at the Glad Tidings Assembly of God, Clearfield on Saturday at 10:30 am with Rev. Stephen DeSantis and Pastor Brian Belinda officiating. Interment will be in the Eden Cemetery, Shawville.

Friends will be received at the church on Saturday from 10-10:30 AM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Glad Tidings Assembly of God, 6449 Clearfield Woodland Hwy, Clearfield or to the Circle of Friends - Hospice, PO Box 992, Clearfield.
