Obituary for Thomas P. Lippert

Thomas P.  Lippert
Thomas P. Lippert, 78, of Woodland died on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at his home.

He was born on June 28, 1936 in Clearfield, a son of the late Earl and Ollie (Teats) Lippert.

Mr. Lippert was a self employed electrician. Before being self employed, he had worked as an electrician for RD Goss for 28 years.
He was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Clearfield where he served as a trustee and head usher. Mr. Lippert also enjoyed volunteering at the Clearfield Hospital and was an extremely avid blood donor.

Mr. Lippert is survived by his wife, Norma J. (McLaughlin) Lippert whom he wed August 31, 1958 in Shiloh; two children, Thomas P Lippert II of Hays, VA and Crystal Rishell and husband David of DuBois; three grandchildren, Thomas P. Lippert and wife Katie of Clearfield, Paige Rishell of Norfolk, VA and Padon Rishell of DuBois; an expected great granddaughter; a brother Victor Lippert of Clearfield; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Edith and Kathleen Lippert and Nancy Fisher; and eight brothers, Kenneth, James, Glenn, Charlie, John, Donald, Earl Jr. and Gerald Lippert.

Funeral services will be held at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Clearfield on Wednesday at 12 PM with Rev. Robert B. Goldenberg and Rev. Kenneth Pry officiating. Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.

Friends will be received at the church on Wednesday from 11 AM -12 PM .

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Gideon International, PO Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214; the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 45 Alliance Road, Clearfield; or to the Clearfield Foundation for Health - Hospice, PO Box 992, Clearfield.
