Jeremy Burton Learish , 15, of Clearfield, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015.

He was born on May 6, 2000 in Clearfield, a son of David P. and Laurel (Hemphill) Learish of Clearfield.

Jeremy attended the First Baptist Church, Clearfield. Jeremy was known for being happy and full of energy and not afraid to try new things. He loved riding his four wheeler and also enjoyed baseball, hunting and spending time at camp. Most of all, Jeremy loved life, especially when he was with his family or just hanging out with his friends.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Kaitlyn Learish of Clearfield; his maternal grandfather, Alan Hemphill of Black Forest, CO; his paternal grandmother, Joan L. Learish of Clearfield; these aunts and uncles, Laurie Barney and husband Charlie, Lisa Zalno and husband Ron, Marcia Altemus and husband Dean, all of Clearfield, Tammy Hemphill of CO and Rick Hemphill and wife Becky of CO; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Gerry Hemphill and paternal grandfather, Jack Learish.

Funeral services will be held at The Presbyterian Church, Clearfield on Thursday at 1:00 pm with Rev. Robert Achey officiating. Interment will follow in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.

Friends will be received at The Presbyterian Church, Clearfield on Thursday from 11am - 1 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), attn: Judi Bookhamer, 2831 Washington Avenue, Clearfield.
