Obituary for Kenneth L. Taylor

Kenneth L.  Taylor
Kenneth L. Taylor, 56, of Clearfield died on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at his home, with his family by his side.

He was born on September 5, 1958 in Clearfield, a son of Lewis Taylor and the late Rose Marlene (Passmore) Taylor.

He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Clearfield. Kenny was a loving husband, proud father and all around family man, loved by many. He was a welder by trade, owning his own business for 20 years. Kenny was employed by NRG Energy as a mobile maintenance welder. Kenny had a passion for cars, especially restoring classic mustangs. He was truly caring toward his pets and all animals. He would go out of his way to help anyone in need and will be deeply missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Charity S. (Kephart) Taylor whom he wed November 9, 1985 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Clearfield; two children, AshLee M. Taylor and Senior Airman Nathaniel R. Taylor USAF; a brother, Rodney L. Taylor and wife Amanda; nieces and nephews, Bill, Matt, Lauren, Brian, Stephanie, Christine, William, Jamie, Joshua, Brent, Shelby and Andrew.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Kay Taylor and Debbie Roseberry; and a brother-in-law, Ralph Roseberry.

Funeral services will be held at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Clearfield on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 11:00 am with Rev Robert Stump officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday, August 14, 2015 from 4 - 7:00 PM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 275 21st Street, Clearfield or to Trinity United Methodist Church, 121 S. Second Street, Clearfield.
