My heart is so sad tonight/ I just heard the news that one of my very first students 13 years ago has lost his life tragically in an accident involving his work. Jacob Casher, I will always remember your sweet smile, your kind and sincere and honest spirit, the sound of your voice when you prayed in class, how you loved to fish and hunt and 4-wheeler ride and spend time with your pap, how you and Ben and Jeremiah Johnson and Daniel Grizzly Carney would try to stir things up in our 2nd grade class but I loved you all so much, as if you were my own first children, and I am so sad that you are gone. May your spirit be at peace and live on and fly with the angels.
