Obituary for Marion L. Jarrett (Dixon)

Marion L.  Jarrett (Dixon)
Marion L. Jarrett, 68, of Woodland died on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at the Life Care Hospital, Mechanicsburg.

She was born on August 31, 1947 in Ohio, a daughter of the late Sherman William and Florence K. (Konkeil) Dixon.

Mrs. Jarrett enjoyed her family, especially their recent trip to the beach. She also had a love of shopping and had a special place in her heart for her dog, Mr. Poppers.

She is survived by five children, Florence Christine Smeal of Clearfield, Rebecca Ann Bumbarger and husband Douglas of DuBois, Edwina Lynn Lococo and husband Kevin of Chambersburg, Madeline Louise Smeal and fiancé Michael Buck of Woodland and Michael Lee Jarrett and fiancé Renee Bloom of Woodland; fifteen grandchildren, Christina, Melissa, Shawn, Amber, Lesley Jr., Miranda, Jettie, Mariah, Douglas Jr., Nicholas, Ryan, Tiffany, Alison, Robin and Lacy; seven great grandchildren; and a brother, Roland Dixon of Clearfield.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward M. Jarrett on November 4, 2014 and whom she wed June 16, 1971. She was also preceded in death by sister, Paula Ardery.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Wednesday at 1 PM with Rev. Daniel M. Osterhout officiating. Interment will follow in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 AM - 1 PM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, 113 North Third Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
