Obituary for William G. "Billford" Stevens

William G. "Billford"  Stevens
William G. 'Billford' Stevens, 57, of Woodland, formerly of Huntington, Long Island, NY, died on Wednesday, February 10, 2016.

He was born on October 8, 1958 in Clearfield, a son of the late Clair William and Marie (Pohl) Stevens.

Bill drove truck all of his life, most currently with LJF Trucking, Irvona. He also loved his motorcycles and watching NASCAR and Dirt-Track racing. He would always be found hanging with his family and friends and will certainly be missed by his dog, Toots.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa (Bumbarger) Stevens whom he wed June 13, 2015; five step children, Desarae James and companion Adam Kanuff of Curwensville, Sabrina Bloom and husband Kyle of Clearfield, Sherri James and companion Nicholis Kennedy of Philipsburg, Brandie Pritz of West Decatur and Braden Pritz of Woodland; six grandchildren, Henry, Azen, Riley, Justin, Khendyl and Brody; and a brother, Clair 'Dick' Stevens of Long Island, NY.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Diana L. (Maines) Stevens; a daughter, Ashelynn Marie Stevens; and a grandson, Holden.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Sunday at 3:30 pm with Rev. Brenda K. Libreatori officiating.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-3:30 PM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, 113 North Third Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
