Dora R. Korb , 93

of Bigler died on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at the Ridgeview Elder Care and Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville.

She was born on February 26, 1923 in Bigler, a daughter of the late William Charles and Julia Catherine (Williams) Korb.

Dora was a kindergarten teacher in the Altoona School District for many years.
She was a member of Dale United Methodist Church, Bigler and the Ladies Auxiliary of the BJW Fire Hall.

She is survived by her a sister, Jane Tomasini of Westfield, MA; three brothers, James Korb and his wife Mildred and Harold Korb and his wife Thelma, all of Meriden, CT, and Arthur Korb of Bigler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Nellie Davis and Alice Walker; and three brothers, Harvey, Charles and Harry Korb.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Thursday at 1 PM with Rev. Kenneth J. Leonard officiating. Interment will follow in the Rockton Cemetery, Rockton.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 AM until 1 PM.
