Condolence From: Ed Fulesday
Condolence: Growing up in Clearfield, I spent a lot of time at your home. Your son Randy was one of my best friends. I visited him several times in Arizona, where he and his family game me and my family the grand tour of copper mines, looking for geods, and a memorable visit to Tombstone. Those pictures still are on my wall with his sons Jared and Paul.
Randy and I spent a lot of time hunting, fishing, attending horse shows, mucking your stables where you had your prized Arabian horses, and, of course, getting into trouble. The town will never forget the infamous Billotte Party. But hey, we were just teenagers, and Randy was well liked and was huge part in everyone's life at that time. He was everyone's friend, but he was probably my best friend. I was even in the waiting room with you and Randy at the hospital when your daughter was born. I remember how you were hoping it was a girl, and your huge grin when the nurse came in to advise you that your wish was fulfilled.
You might have thought that you had your hands full, but what parent didn't back then? You were a major influence in Randy wanting to follow in your footsteps of being an iron worker. I even lived with Randy in Orlando when he helped build Disney World as an iron worker in the early '70s. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your family growing up!
If his sons get this, I would like to have their email addresses. I can be reached at ed@akf.com.

Condolence From: Jared Billotte
Condolence: Dear Granddad,

Paul and I were talking and reminiscing about you the other day. Some of our best memories of our childhood were spent playing at the farm. We remembered things such as you letting us both shoot our first rifle. We also remember the time you took us hunting and how we scared away the deer. Looking back, we realized that you were mad, but you didn’t show it. While it appeared that you were always busy doing chores etc., you always seemed to enjoyed our company.

Your work ethic, how to raise a family, and many other traits were passed down from you to our father …for that we thank you.

We both wish we could have known you better and heard more amazing stories about the things you had done throughout your life, but we think you would have felt as if you were bragging, and you were truly a humble man.

We wish that we could have attended your memorial, but know that you will be in our thoughts and prayer. You were truly a great man and hopefully we can honor your memory by following in your footsteps.

Love always,

Paul and Jared James Billotte
