Obituary for Randall M. Schurr Jr.

Randall M. Schurr, Jr., 74

of Bells Landing died on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Ridgeview Elder Care and Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville.

He was born on July 8, 1942 in Curwensville, a son of the late Randall M. and Margaret (Clark) Schurr, Sr.

Randy was employed at Berg Electronics and later at the WalMart Distribution Center.
He was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, Grampian, the American Legion and a former member of the Curwensville VFW. He served with the US Army during the Vietnam War. In his spare time, Randy enjoyed hunting, golfing, watching football and being outdoors. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Hipps) Schurr whom he wed in 1976; three children, Joseph Schurr and wife Carrie, Barbara Pollisino and husband Robert and Randall M. Schurr, III; four grandchildren, Brooke Olivieri, Adam Schurr, Justin Schurr and Robert Pollisino; three sisters, Mary Ann Sipes and husband Franklin 'Chuck', Sharon Dysard and husband John and Gail Aughenbaugh; and a sister-in-law, Janet Hetrick.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth and a brother, Joseph.

Memorial services will be held at the at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Grampian.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer's Association, 270 Walker Drive Suite 201-B, State College, PA 16801 or to the Ridgeview Activity Group, 30 Fourth Avenue, Curwensville.
