Mary Ann Geppert, 76, of Middletown, MD passed away peacefully on April 18, 2017 at her home with her three children by her side.

Born on January 30, 1941 in Clearfield, she was a daughter of the late Charles Richard 'Dick' and Rosella 'Honey' (Mann) Carlson.

She retired from Giant Food after 32 years of dedicated service.

Mary Ann enjoyed being with her family and watching them succeed in life. She also enjoyed the beach; walks with her dog (Zoey) and was a dedicated Baltimore Ravens fan.

She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Waterworth and her husband Robert of Clarksville, MD and Marcia Geppert-Bunk and her husband Thomas of Frederick, MD; a son, Gary D. Geppert and his wife Julia of Jefferson, MD; six grandchildren, Natalie Waterworth, Jacob Waterworth, Jessie MacKay Bunk, Eric Bunk, Nicholas Geppert and Marykate Geppert; and one great granddaughter, Sophia.

Also surviving is her brother, Kenneth R. Carlson and family of Mars, PA; and many brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Timothy F. Geppert; and a son, Alan Geppert.

Services were held privately at the convenience of the family.
