As Penn State alumni, it was very special for us to have come into the Walker family circle (though introduced through Bucknell), to share good times in person for a few years and then to continue to follow their fun, successes, good works, and life challenges through Alan's annual Christmas letter. A highlight was always the update about Ray's many acts of kindness, humility, and zest for life. Each one left us feeling as though we each could always strive to do more in our own lives. Condolence: My deepest sympathies and condolences to the family - I was a Walker Family Scholarship recipient and had met Ray and family at the Scholarship dinners. He and family are quite wonderful folks, providing a way for many of us to attend college. I am grateful to have met Ray and have known his family. I'm Sorry, as I know he will certainly be missed.
