Madeline Sorbera, 81, of Hollidaysburg died on Friday, June 30, 2017 at her residence.

She was born on August 4, 1935 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Charles and Genevieve (Mitchell) Sorbera.

Miss Sorbera was employed at the Cigar Factory in Philipsburg for twenty years and also worked at the Puritan Factory in Altoona for seven years. Miss Sorbera was a member of the St. Marys Catholic Church in Hollidaysburg. Madeline Sorbera was a woman full of life and a kindhearted soul. Always a caring person and listening ear to anyone in need. Her laughter was unforgettable. She will be terribly missed.

She is survived by loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Cornelia 'Mona' Rubbe; and her brother, Philip Sorbera.

Mass of Christian burial will be said at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Monday at 10 AM with Msgr. Henry Krebs as celebrant. Interment be follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.

Friends will be received at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Monday from 9 until the time of service.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to charity of donors choice.
