Obituary for Richard T. Wright
Richard T. Wright, 81, of Curwensville died on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at UPMC Altoona.
He was born on July 2, 1936 in Curwensville, a son of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Morgan) Wright.
Mr. Wright retired as plant manager at NARCO, Curwensville. In his spare time, Mr. Wright enjoyed reading and was a member of Curwensville Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne (Leigey) Wright whom he wed December 1, 1956; two children, Robert Wright and wife Kim of State College and Valerie Delp and husband Gary of Brockway; three grandsons Eric Wright, Ryan Wright and wife Gail, and Kyle Wright and wife Shannon; and a great granddaughter, Cameron Wright.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Saturday at 11 AM with Gary Jewart officiating. Interment will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM and on Saturday from 10-11 AM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Curwensville Presbyterian Church, 430 Locust Street, Curwensville, PA, 16833 or to the charity of one's choice..
