Obituary for Charlotte M. Sandri
Charlotte M. Cowdrick Sandri, 84, of Clearfield died on Friday, March 3, 2023 at Christ the King Manor in DuBois.
She was born on November 8, 1938 in Philipsburg, the daughter of the late John and Margaret Gregus. She was a graduate of St. Francis High School in 1956. She was a life-long member of St. Francis Church.
She owned and made beautiful crafts and gifts at the Calico Goose gift shop for over 20 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Margie Rosselli and husband JR; two step-daughters, Barbara London and husband Ed, and Joannie Sandri; five grandchildren, John S. Rosselli and wife Kaitlin, Allison Freyer and husand Jesse, Sandi Swales and husband Andy, Lee Ann Caldwell, and Karen McGaha and husband Arnie; her great grandchildren, Ella Rosselli, Jace and Maddox Freyer, Megan Hullihen, Maura Michaels, Lindsay Mays, Owen Caldwell, Katie Fornicola, Karleigh Grondin, Kirsten Swales, and Jack and Sean McGaha; seven great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret Gregus; her first husband, Sherman T. Cowdrick II; her second husband, Robert Sandri; her son, Sherman T. Cowdrick III; and her two sisters, Ann Kassab and late husband Edward, and Josephine Wise and late husband Gene.
Mass of Christian burial will be said at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Friday at 10:00 am with Fr. Robert Horgas as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Francis Catholic Church, 212 South Front Street, Clearfield, PA 16830; or to the St. Francis Educational Endowment Fund, 212 South Front Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
