Obituary for Eleanor J. Morriss (Evans)
Eleanor J. Morriss, 82, of Clearfield died on Sunday, March 12, 2023.
She was born on December 4, 1940 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Albert and Sarah (Bartley) Evans.
Mrs. Morriss had worked in Daycare most of her life. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Clearfield.
She is survived by two sons, Richard 'Rick' Schickling of Clearfield, and Jerry Schickling and wife Beverly of Clearfield; two daughters, Kim Luzier and husband Tom of Clearfield, and Kathy Gomez of Dallas, TX; ten grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; a step son, Rick Morriss; and a step daughter, Debbie Hammett.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry D. Morriss on March 6, 2022. She was also preceded in death by brother, Albert Evans, Jr.
In honoring Mrs. Morriss's wishes, there will be no public services observed.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of donor's choice.
