Obituary for Elizabeth L. Wriglesworth
Elizabeth L. Wriglesworth, 61, of Clearfield passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at the Penn Highlands DuBois.
She was born on December 9, 1960 in Latrobe, a daughter of the late Jack Portser and Elizabeth (Lowes) Portser who survives.
Elizabeth graduated from Latrobe High School in 1978, then went to the Conemaugh School of Nursing where she became a registered nurse. She worked as an RN at the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center, Altoona for 30 years.
In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, going to wineries, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Wriglesworth whom she wed September 13, 2015; her mother, Elizabeth Portser; six children, Ryan (Amber) Savino and their children, Eliana, Jack, and Luca, Chelsey Savino, Shane (Alexis) Wriglesworth, Eric (Kelly) Wriglesworth, Julia Berndt, and Rebekah Holenchik; 22 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jack (Leanne) Portser Jr., and Bill 'Tracy' (Glenda) Portser; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her previous husband, Ricky Berndt; a niece, Tiffany Portser; a nephew, Daniel Savino, Jr.; a sister-in-law, Denise Portser; a father-in-law, Michael Savino, Sr.; and a mother-in-law, Olive Savino.
Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church, Curwensville, Curwensville on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 11 AM with Rev. Daniel M. Osterhout officiating. Interment will follow in the Beulah Cemetery, Ramey.
Friends will be received at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 4-7 PM and Thursday from 10-11 AM at the church.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church, Curwensville 1227 Susquehanna Ave P.O. Box 312, Curwensville, PA 16833.
