Obituary for Esther Elizabeth Vingless
Esther E. 'Bette' Vingless, 74, of Houtzdale, formerly of Gallitzin, died on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at home after a battle with cancer.
She was born on June 18, 1946 in Altoona, a daughter of the late Leo and Opal (Allen) Bender.
She married John T. Vingless on October 19, 1968 in Gallitzin, who preceded her in death on March 31, 2006.
She retired as a beautician.
Surviving are two sons, John T. Vingless Jr. and wife Colleen C. of Houtzdale, and Jason T. Vingless and wife Jennifer L. of Houtzdale; a brother, Charles R. 'Dick' Bender and wife Elaine K. of Altoona; a very special sister-in-law, Marie Lansberry of Coalport; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Joseph T. Vingless.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
