Obituary for Eugene A. Livergood
Eugene A. Livergood, 91, of Frenchville died on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at his home.
He was born on December 17, 1931 in Lecontes Mills, a son of the late George and Wava (Young) Livergood.
Mr. Livergood was a coal miner for Lingle Coal Co. for 20 years and then retired in 1991 from Rushton Mining Co. in Osecola after another 20 years.
He was a member of Clearfield Alliance Church.
He is survived by three sons, Daniel E. Livergood and wife Marie, Richard James Livergood and wife Margaret, and Bradley W. Livergood and wife Darlene, all of Frenchville; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; and a sister, Iva Schall of Clearfield.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen A. (Neff) Livergood on December 31, 2017 and whom he wed June 24, 1950 in Winchester, VA. He was also preceded in death by one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; and three brothers, Ross Livergood, Louis A. Livergood, and Reese Livergood.
Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 11 AM with Dr. Duane A. White officiating. Interment will follow in the Eden Cemetery, Frenchville.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 9-11 AM.
