Obituary for Freda M. Levine
Freda M. Levine, 94, of Clearfield died on Monday, December 5, 2022 at her home.
She was born on June 24, 1928 in O'Shanter, a daughter of the late Arthur and Lula (Swatsworth) Rummings.
Freda was a cook at the Clearfield Area School District for 19 years.
She was a member of Clearfield Alliance Church for many years where she was a Deaconist.
She is survived by two daughters, Denise Dixson and husband Robert of Frenchville, and Lisa Rauch of Clearfield; a daughter-in-law, Sandra Levine; five grandchildren, Patricia Bumbarger, James Levine Jr., Malisa Levine, Katlyn Owens, and Craig Reddinger; and five great-grandchildren, Cody Bumbarger, Christopher Bumbarger, Connor Bumbarger, Harper Owens, and Reid Owens.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Levine on January 12, 2000 and whom she wed August 25, 1950. She was also preceded in death by two sons, James E. Levine and Keith A. Levine; and three brothers, Arthur Wilson Rummings, Lewis William Rummings, and Frederick C. Rummings.
Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 11 AM with Dr. Duane A. White officiating. Interment will follow be the Bloomington Cemetery, Curwensville.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 4-7 PM and on Friday from 10-11 AM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Clearfield Alliance Church, 45 Alliance Road, Clearfield, PA 16830.
