Obituary for Freida J. Catalano (Quick)
Freida J. Catalano, 71, of Clearfield died on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
She was born on June 24, 1950 in Philipsburg, a daughter of the late Mearl and Rosemary (Herr) Quick.
Freida graduated in 1969 from West Branch High School and had been employed as a dental assistant.
She is survived by her husband, Donald J. Catalano; a sister, Rose Marie Ennis and husband Rick of Julian; two brothers, Eugene Quick and wife Deborah of Morrisdale and Benny Quick and wife Brenda of West Decatur; three step children, Lisa Covington and husband Robert of Akron, OH, Nancy Jackson and husband Marvin of DuBois, and Donald Catalano and wife Christine of Indiana, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Mearl Quick, Jr.; a nephew, Ryan Quick; and a great niece, Aaliyah Koleszarik.
Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Monday at 1 PM with step daughter Lisa Covington officiating. Interment will be in the Grandview Cemetery, Morrisdale.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 12 - 1 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Multiple Sclerosis Association of America, 375 Kings Highway North, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
