Obituary for George D. "Bud" Duckett Jr.
George (Bud) Duckett, 78, of Grampian passed away Wednesday December 23rd, 2020 at Penn Highlands Dubois.
Born October 12th, 1942 in Clearfield, Pennsylvania to the late George and Mary Zoe Duckett.
He was an avid outdoorsman; he loved his fishing, hunting and working with his tractors.
He was a board member of the Kratzer Run Sewage Authority. George was the proud owner of "Bud's Cycle Supply" and co-owner of The "Old Town Road Dairy".
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carol Fontenoy Duckett, Son Gary Duckett (Kellie) of Georgetown, DE and daughter Lori Barrett (Don) of Grampian, PA. Also, four grandchildren. Tyler Barrett (Kylee), Cody Barrett, Megan Vicklund (Bret), Abby Spaid (Brian), along with 7 great grandchildren.
Also surviving are siblings, Gerald Duckett (Shelby), Judy Graham, Ron Duckett (Linda), Linda Milligan (Ed), Mike Duckett (Sue), Debbie Hepburn (Gary), Scott Duckett (Kem), Kim Swatsworth (Todd), sister in law, Patricia Duckett.
Preceded in death by his parents, his brother Roger Duckett, and brother in law John Graham.
At the request of Mr. Duckett, there will be no public services.
Family suggests memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donors choice.
