Obituary for George Anthony Shearer
George A. Shearer, 72, of Curwensville, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the Embassy of Hillsdale Park, Hillsdale.
He was the son of the late Rose Shearer of Curwensville and George Shearer of Ohio.
He served in the Army during Vietnam from 1967-1970. He loved to fish more than anything. Also, he loved going to the races.
He is survived by a sister, Rosemary Guiher and her husband Jerry of Grampian; a niece, Kimberly Weld; and a great nephew, Trenton Weld. Also, he is survived by his partner of 35 years, Patty Petrone of Curwensville.
He is preceded in death by aunts and uncles.
There will be no services observed. George will be laid to rest at Crown Crest Memorial Park in Hyde.
