Obituary for Gregory A Hess
Gregory A. Hess, 63, of Clearfield died on Friday, December 24, 2021 at the Penn Highlands Clearfield.
He was born on April 25, 1958 in Clearfield, a son of the late Robert W. and Catherine (Padisak) Hess.
Greg graduated from Clearfield High School in 1975 and was employed at the Clearfield Truck Stop. He then continued employment with Hawbaker, Inc. In his spare time, Greg used to love fishing, hunting and gardening. He will also be known for his fantastic cooking and baking skills. His three granddaughters were most precious to him.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa (Wisor) Hess; two sons, Joshua Hess of Clearfield, and Zachary Hess and companion Christina of Ligonier; four siblings, Kimberly Carlson and husband Mike Kassab of Clearfield, Robert Hess and wife Susan of Curwensville, Cheryl Gilbert and husband David of Grampian, and Douglas Hess of Clearfield; and three precious granddaughters whom he so dearly loved, Caylee, Zoey and Josie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Mark Stephen Hess and John Schaeffer.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and current outbreak situation, there will be no services held at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
