Obituary for James C. Miller
James C. Miller, 86, of Clearfield passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield, surrounded by his family.
He was born on December 12, 1935 in Atlas, a son of the late Alfred and Mae (Zabe) Miller.
Jim was a plant manager for General Cigar, where he retired from after 45 years.
He loved to fish and enjoyed golfing. Most of all, he loved being around his family.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Ward) Miller whom he wed July 30, 1962; four children, Darlene Kutskel and husband David, Paula Miller and significant other Eric Fox, Jeffrey Miller and wife Victoria, and Diane Morgan and husband Chad; eight grandchildren, Justin, Nathan, Baillie, Emily, Brock, Everett, Colson, and Tesla; numerous great-grandchildren; and a brother, John.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three brothers, Al, Ermett, and Bobby; and three sisters, Dorothy, Mae, and Rosie.
Honoring Jim's wishes, there will be no public services.
Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield is in charge of the arrangements.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer's Association 270 Walker Drive Suite 201-B, State College, PA 16801; American Cancer Society 108R North Second St., Suite 1B, Clearfield, PA 16830; or American Parkinson's Disease Association, PO Box 61420, Staten Island, NY 10306.
