Obituary for Jeannette Maines (Triponey)
It is with profound sadness that the family of Jeannette (Triponey) Maines announce her peaceful passing on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Penn Highlands DuBois at the age of 82 years old.
She was born on June 17, 1938 in Philipsburg, a daughter of the late William and Josephine M. (Triponey) Warfield.
Mrs. Maines was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was the beloved secretary of the Dream Catchers Twirling and Dance Academy of Clearfield. She enjoyed spending this time with her daughter, granddaughter and all of their students and built many fond memories and relationships. Jeannette was also a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Clearfield.
Jeannette will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Charles O. Maines Jr. whom she wed November 24, 1956 in Kylertown; four children, Sherri Centra of Clearfield, Pamela Whinnery and husband Jeffrey of Southport, NC, Frank Maines and fiance Sherri Sortor-Thompson of Clearfield, and Jo Maines-Lowman and husband John of Clearfield; five grandchildren, Kari Wilsoncroft and husband Jamie, Shannon Moyer, Justin Centra, Danielle Zurin and husband Adam, and Ashley Jo Lowman; and four great grandchildren, Juli Centra, Leighara Wilsoncroft, Eli Zurin, and Mabrey Zurin.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no public services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Interment will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. John Lutheran Church, PO Box 1454, Clearfield, PA 16830.
