Obituary for Kelly J. Hoy
Kelly Hoy, 59, of Clearfield died on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born on December 28, 1959 in Clearfield, a son of the late James Hoy and Nancy (Olson) Garito.
Kelly was a newspaper print operator for most of his life. He was a talented roller skater and enjoyed spending time at the roller rink.
He was a good friend to many and always enjoyed a cold beer.
He is survived by his two sons, Kelly Hoy of Exton, and Zack Hoy of Clearfield; an eight year-old grandson, Cade Hoy, a six year-old granddaughter, Ava Hoy; eight siblings, Jackie Griffith, Phyllis Galio, Sherry Ferguson, Billie Jo Mullen, James Hoy, David Hoy, Christopher Garito, and John T. Caldwell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Teresa.
He will be truly loved and missed by family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Saturday at 11 AM. Interment will follow in the Stoneville Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8 PM and Saturday from 10-11 AM.
