Obituary for Kenneth D. Duckett Jr.
Kenneth D. Duckett Jr., 35, of Clearfield passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
He was born on December 31, 1985 in Clearfield, a son of Kenneth D. Sr. and Sibbie (Smeal) Duckett of Clearfield.
Kenny graduated from Clearfield Area High School where he participated in varsity wrestling. After graduation, he had been employed at the Walmart Distribution Center, Woodland.
He attended Curwensville Christian Church. Kenny enjoyed hunting and fishing; however, Kenny's family was most important to him. He was very involved with coaching both baseball and softball, attending dance competitions and spending time with everyone on the boat. Anything that involved his children, you would find Kenny.
In addition to his parents Kenneth Sr. and Sibbie of Clearfield, he is survived by his wife, Cassandra (Black) Duckett whom he wed May 19, 2007; two children, Tiara and Gunner Duckett; and a brother, Jesse Duckett and wife Nicole and their children Raelynn, Brodyn and Taylynn of Glen Richey.
He was preceded in death his paternal grandfather, Kenneth G. Duckett; his paternal grandmother, Rosanna McLaughlin; and maternal grandparents, Samuel G. and Arbutus Smeal.
A memorial service will be held at the Curwensville Christian Church, Curwensville on Thursday at 6 PM with Pastor George Cannon officiating.
Friends will be received at the church on Thursday from 4:30 PM - 6 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, 113 North Third Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
