Obituary for Kenneth R. McCracken Sr.
Kenneth R. McCracken Sr., 63, of Frenchville, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
He was born on August 18, 1957 in Clearfield, a son Donna (Luzier) McCracken of Clearfield and the late James McCracken.
Ken was employed as a beveler at Martell Glass for 27 years. He also enjoyed carpentry and fixing cars. Ken had a strong work ethic and was always willing to help a hand whenever he could. Ken really enjoyed helping people and willing to do anything needed.
He was affiliated with the Shawville and Mt. Joy United Methodist Churches.
In addition to his mother Donna, Ken is survived by his wife, Debra (Leonard) McCracken whom he wed on July 28, 2001; two children, Kenneth 'JR' R. McCracken, Jr. of Egypt, and Carrie McCracken of Frenchville; five siblings, Melvin McCracken and wife Marsha of Clearfield, Russell McCracken and wife Pam of Goshen, Dennis McCracken and wife Chris of Clearfield, Cindy Lippert and her late husband Don of Clearfield, and Mark McCracken and wife Nichole of CA; two brothers-in-law, Kenneth Leonard, Jr. of Frenchville and David Leonard and wife Paula of Frnechville; three sisters-in-law, Robin Clark of Clearfield, Jody Gardner and husband John of State College, and Mary Beth Leonard and fiancé Danny Elliot of Fredrick, MD; his father-in-law, Pastor Kenneth Leonard Sr. and wife Mary Lee of Frenchville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Thursday at 2:00 pm with father-in-law Rev. Kenneth J. Leonard and Dr. C. Fred Ralston officiating. Interment will be in the Congress Hill Cemetery, LeContes Mills.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 11-2 PM.
