Kenneth L. McKendrick, 84, of Clearfield died on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.

He was born on September 22, 1937 in Clearfield, a son of the late Andrew Mearle and Bessie (Long) McKendrick.

Mr. McKendrick was employed as a heavy equipment operator and mechanic with various companies around Clearfield, retiring in 1997.

He is survived by three children; Cindy McKendrick of Clearfield, Kenneth C. McKendrick and wife Jessica of Clearfield, and Belinda Johnson and husband Dennis of Ely, NV; six grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a sister, Phyllis Foster of TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie (O'Dell) McKendrick on April 26, 2006; a daughter, Phyllis Woodle; and eleven siblings and two infant siblings.

Honoring Mr. McKendrick's wishes, there will be no services.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 108R North Second St., Suite 1B, Clearfield, PA 16830.
