Obituary for LaRue I. Barton (Coldren)
LaRue I. Barton, 86, of Clearfield died on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at home.
She was born on February 24, 1933 in Mifflintown, a daughter of the late William P. and Emma V. (Snyder) Coldren.
Before she stayed home to raise her family, Mrs. Barton was employed at Lyons Fashions in McAlisterville, PA.
She was also a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church, Mifflintown
She is survived by two children, Thomas 'Tom' Barton and wife Paula of Anneville, and Judy K. DuFour and husband Tim of Clearfield; granddaughters, Tracy Rayadi of Harrisburg, and Jennifer Kauffman and husband Paul Bredbener of Halstead; and a sister, Shirley Haubert of Richfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul F. Barton on January 14, 2007 and whom she wed May 16, 1952. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Arlene Miller and Bernice Nace.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Pine Grove United Methodist Church, 4633 Cuba Mills Road, Mifflintown, PA 17059.
