Mark R. Owens, 63, of Woodland, PA went to be with his father unexpectedly on Sunday, May 9 at his home.

Born November 6, 1957, a birthday he later shared with his twin children, to Russell E. Owens who preceded him in death and Maxine Owens of Woodland who survives.

Mark wed Ruth A. Rishel, also surviving in Woodland, on May 2, 1981, and they just celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. His twin children, Lindsay Miller and husband Daniel of Glenville, NY and Brandon Owens of Woodland survive as well as his granddaughter and joy Madelyn Skye; his sister and close brother-in-law, Eunice and David Libreatori; and his brother Craig Owens and family.

Mark worked for Al Hamilton Contracting of Woodland for many years and most recently retired from Hilex Poly of Milesburg. He shared a love of tractors with his father and his granddaughter, and enjoyed family motorcycle rides with his wife and son. He was proud of his garden and his family, both of which he took great care of.

All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
