Obituary for Mary F. Beish (Gower)

Mary F. Beish, 70, of West Decatur, died on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Penn Highlands Clearfield.

She was born on January 4, 1951 in Frankford, MO, a daughter of the late Conley and Vivian (Moore) Gower.

Mrs. Beish was most recently employed in the cafeteria at West Branch School District. Previously she had worked at the Philipsburg American Legion Post 0437 for nearly 15 years. Her biggest joy in life were her grandkids and great grandkids.
She had formerly attended the Salem United Methodist Church. She was a member of the BJW volunteer Fire Company where she had served as treasurer. Mrs. Beish also attended the Kylertown Senior Center where she enjoyed crocheting and crafts.

She is survived by two children, Donna Heitsenrether and husband Brian of Clearfield, and Bryan Beish of West Decatur; six grandchildren, Breana Burgmeier and husband Shawn, Michael Woodling and wife Kayla, Melissa Woodling, Adam Beish and wife Taylor, Nicole Beish, and Brooke Beish; nine great grandchildren, Alex, Chloe, Hunter, Willow, David, Rhain, Matthew, Lucas, and Isaac; a brother, Ray C Gower and wife Brenda; a sister, Vicki Cragen and husband John; and two sisters-in-law, Wanda Gower and Gertie Gower.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Beish on November 6, 1989. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Glendle and Doug Gower.

The family would like to invite everyone to celebrate her life and to honor the memory of their mother on Sunday, June 27th at 2 PM in the Social Hall of Mount Joy United Methodist Church, 1727 Mount Joy Road, Clearfield, PA 16830.
