Obituary for Mearl D. Coulter
Mearl D. Coulter, 86, of Clearfield, died on Sunday, July 31, 2022.
He was born on September 15, 1935 in Surveyor, a son of the late Herbert S. and Mary Ellen (Fry) Coulter.
He was a truck driver for several companies.
He is survived by his sister, Christine Cutler of Clearfield; three brothers, Burton Coulter, Albert Coulter and wife Anne, and Leonard Coulter and wife Jackie of Clearfield; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, William 'Sonny' Cutler; and a sister-in-law, Susan Coulter.
Mearl was given exceptional care by his nephew and wife, Tom and Penny Kougher and their family. They showed him such kindness, care and love during his declining health and passing. The other close family members of Mearl would like to give their heart-felt thank you.
Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Thursday at 1:00 pm with Rev. Stevan Sheets officiating. Interment will follow in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 12-1 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 275 21st Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
