Obituary for Michael T. Rumsky
Michael T. Rumsky, 68, of Clearfield passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at the Penn Highlands Clearfield.
He was born on December 15, 1952 in Clearfield, a son of the late Joseph and Monarae (Helsel) Rumsky.
Mr. Rumsky worked as an equipment operator for Glen O. Hawbaker where he retired from in 2015 after 30 years.
He enjoyed coaching his children in farm league and little league baseball. He also liked gardening and hunting. Mike enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren play sports.
Mr. Rumsky served with the U. S. Army from 1971-1979.
He is survived by his wife, Diane (Bell) Rumsky whom he wed April 26, 1991; a son, Joseph Rumsky and wife Denise; two daughters, Rebecca Graves and husband Shawn, and Elizabeth Rumsky and husband Stephen; three step children, Thomas Neary, Michael Neary, and Deanna Haffey and husband Mike; ten grandchildren, Karly, Karson, Graeson, Gabrielle, Kayla, Madison, Michael, Leo, Ella Mae, and Patrick; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Jeff Rumsky and wife Chrissy; a sister, Pam Hertlein and husband Dick; and a brother-in-law, John Hayward.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dena Hayward.
Honoring Michael's wishes, there will be no public services.
