Obituary for Ramona M. Stewart (McGovern)
Ramona M. Stewart, 91, of Clearfield died on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
She was born on February 8, 1931 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mildred (Caldwell) McGovern.
Mrs. Stewart retired as a nurse from the Clearfield Hospital after 20 years of employment. She was affiliated with The Presbyterian Church, Clearfield
She is survived by a daughter, LuAnn Wisor and husband Lew of Clearfield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Stewart and Daniel Stewart; three brothers, Delano McGovern, Ward McGovern, and Hiram Caldwell; and a sister, Drucilla Henry.
She was also very close with her nieces and nephews; Jeanne Caldwell Leonard, Yvonne McGovern Shaffer, Celest McGovern, Patrick McGovern, Joseph McGovern, Francis McGovern, Shawn McGovern Bailey, Mary Henry Bowes, William McGovern, and Mark McGovern.
There will be no services observed at this time. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield.
