Obituary

Rebecca A. Demi, 65, of Clearfield died on Saturday, June 20, 2020.

She was born on April 17, 1955 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Joseph J. and Lois (Thompson) Peters.

Rebecca is a graduate of the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center in Cosmetology. She owned her own business, "Becky's Shop" for many years. Becky was very creative. She designed and perfected her own style called 'Unisex Precision Haircut', which was highly sought by many patrons. She loved her profession and helping people look their best.

Becky loved all living creatures. Along with her many dogs and cats, she had taken in, cared for, and loved stray mice, squirrels and even ducks - Any creature that needed a friend and a home. She had great compassion and a kind heart.

She is survived by two brothers, Joseph Peters and wife Cindy of Clearfield, and David Peters and companion Mary Croswell of Clearfield; two nephews, Adam Peters and wife Ashley of NC, and Aaron Peters and wife Jennifer of DuBois; and a niece, Amanda Beech and husband Brett of Martinsburg.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Clearfield-Jefferson County Drug and Alcohol Commission, 480 Jeffers Street, DuBois, PA 15801; or any local animal shelter.

Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield is in charge of arrangements.

Joe and David and families,
I've known Becky and you all for 30 years and Becky was always a dear friend to me regardless of how many years and I loved getting my hair cut and hanging out and talking to her. Although I was just a kid when I lived by her I always looked past things and deep into how loving and compassionate my friend is an she taught me to be strong and was my true friend and always looked out for me being a child that was broken she picked up the pieces took me under her wing and always told me to follow my dreams. It's been 10 years since I was last home and seen Becky I I always wondered how she was an tried to find her on Facebook. I guess now shes up their with momma Lois and her Dad and will always look over all she loved. Which she loved her brothers so much and her nephews and niece she was always super proud of and her pride and joy. I love and miss you my dear friend it's not good bye its see you in heaven for eternity someday again. I will always remember all our many days of talks hanging out and learning so much as a teen.

Dave, Joe, Cindy and Mary and family
I'm so sorry to hear about Beck. This just crushed my heart as I just buried a dear friend literally the day before now my lifelong friend. I pray you all find comfort and peace knowing Becky is in heaven happy with your parents and will always be in your hearts until you reunite again. I would love to come home if you have a memorial for her please let me know. Keeping you all in prayers and we send our love to all of you.
