Obituary for Renee A. Kessler (Carns)
Renee A. Kessler, 43, of Clearfield, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Penn Highlands DuBois due to complications from COVID-19.
She was born on August 3, 1977 in Clearfield, a daughter of the Louis Carns of Clearfield and Janice (Williams) Merat and husband Mark of Frenchville.
Renee was a 1995 graduate of Clearfield Area High School. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield. Renee was also a member of the Leigey Renaud VFW Post 8386 auxiliary as well as a member of the Old Town Sportsman Association.
Renee enjoyed being outdoors either hunting or fishing. She also had much fun riding her side by side and trying to find every puddle or mud hole to ride through. Her greatest love was her children.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Brian Kessler; two children, Molly and Louis Kessler of Clearfield; a sister, Sally Norris Gonzalez of Clearfield; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins with whom she was very close.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Crawford and Mary Jane Williams, Max and Armella Carns, and Ruth Merat.
In honor of Renee's wishes, there will be no services at this time. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 275 21st Street, Clearfield, PA, 16830 .
