Obituary for Richard Snyder
Richard Snyder, 86, formerly of Mahaffey, died on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
He was born on March 16, 1932 in Ebensburg, a son of the late Thomas George and Dessa Pearl (Lee) Snyder.
Mr. Snyder was formerly employed by Benjamin Coal Company as an electrician. He enjoyed being outdoors and in his woodshop.
He is survived by four daughters, Debra Kritzer of Olanta, Wanda Goehring and husband Lee of Penn Run, Nancy Rescinito and husband Ernest of Northern Cambria, and Bobbi Noren and husband Bob of Guyton, GA; seven grandchildren, one great granddaughter; a sister, Alice Clowson of OR; and a brother, Walter Snyder of Hillsdale.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Taylor) Snyder; a son-in-law, Michael Kritzer; and several siblings.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Friday from 10 AM - Noon.
